From the age of 10, I dreamed of award-winning success, dancing in the Townsville Junior Eisteddfod competition. Though I faced setbacks and never won any of my competition heats in solo or duet dancing, these experiences fuelled my determination to learn how to succeed.
In my 30s, after losing a salaried job, I took a leap into the world of commission-only insurance sales. Initially, I encountered numerous rejections there too, but instead of giving up, I uncovered the secrets to sales success and became a multi-award-winning national sales champion.
Taking those secrets into university in my 40s, I became an award-winning Psychology Counselling Student and Scholar.
Now, as a Bx Business Awards Coach Finalist, I’ve created a world-first online course, The Award Winners Edge – the stellar art of applying for business awards. In addition, I love leading the Award Winners Inner Circle Community, Workshops, and a free monthly LinkedIn Live Series on Elevate to Nominate, where people learn from clients and winners how to navigate the awards process with confidence and creativity.
